Every woman in good standing with the Seal Beach Yacht Club is automatically a member of the Sea Belles—no extra fees, no special requirements, just a warm invitation to join a remarkable group with a proud history and a meaningful mission!
Our Legacy
The Seal Beach Yacht Club was established in 1961, and the Sea Belles have been making waves since 1978. Over the years, we’ve hosted fashion shows, parties, and dinners, created a treasured cookbook, organized blood drives, and supported charity programs. From donating blankets and stuffed animals for children in crisis to collecting clothing for women’s shelters and food for pantry programs, the Sea Belles have always been committed to giving back.
We’ve also contributed to the club itself in meaningful ways, including multiple TVs, audio-video equipment, galley essentials like microwaves and China plates, chairs, and even a ceremonial gavel to make our meetings truly official. Every contribution reflects the heart and ingenuity of our members, and the impact has been significant!
What’s Next?
​This year, we’ll continue to build on our incredible legacy. Look forward to lunches, monthly birthday celebrations, and special events like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day. We’re developing plans for charitable giving and exploring fun excursions—imagine a night under the stars at the Hollywood Bowl!
