These instructions ONLY are for those who have been assigned an email with @slbyc.com address.

 

There are three ways to use your @slbyc.com address:

1. Forwarding only. When the email address was assigned, it was set to forward to your personal address automatically. While there is nothing to do, the disadvantage is that when you reply, it will reply using your personal email address rather than the @slbyc.com address. If this isn't what you want, perform one of the below steps. Note: Emails will always be forwarded to your personal email even if you use one of the techniques below.

2. Use the webmail feature of our slbyc.com email. A webpage or app similar to a normal email program can be used to view and respond to your @slbyc.com email. When you reply, it will be from your @slbyc.com email. ​

​To Use webmail:

• In your computer or phone web browser, go to this address:
  https://mail.slbyc.com

• Enter your full @slbyc.com email

• Enter the password sent to you

Note: There is a new feature available where webmail can install an app. You are welcome to install it. As far as what is different, it just installs an icon on your desktop to allow you to jump right into webmail, or an app on your phone.

3. Configure your computer and/or phone to use the email directly in your normal email app. (Eg outlook, gmail, etc). This is technically difficult if you are not familiar with email protocol configurations. The official guide is found here. It is not recommended for novices.
